Obituary of Henry Lee

Please share a memory of Henry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Henry Lee, father and hero to Tyler, Kayla, Ryan, Dylan and Alexa and deeply beloved husband of Jennifer for 27 years (together for 35) was taken away from us far too soon.

Henry grew up in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School. He was an avid fan of The NY Jets, Knicks, Rangers and Mets. Henry enjoyed playing hockey, softball, and basketball in his free time. However, it was through volleyball that he met the love of his life Jennifer.

They happily moved from Brooklyn to Marlboro, NJ where they continued their beautiful journey.

Henry lived his life at 110% full throttle every day. When he walked into a room everything stopped. Everyone knew it was going to be an amazing time. His charm and infectious smile made your heart beat fast with so much love and unexpected energy that you craved for more of him. If you met him once you remembered him for a lifetime.

Henry had this unique way about him. He was like an abstract painting – bold and loud but beautiful. He loved with so much passion and excitement. Kind and generous, he always made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of, never expecting anything in return. The word “stranger” didn’t exist in his world. If he met you, he loved you.

Henry was known for his relentless work ethic, which inspired the people around him. A Senior Operations Manager employed at FedEx for 33 years, he earned the love and respect of colleagues and executives alike. Henry literally grew up within Fed Ex and it was ingrained in the very fabric of his life.

Henry shared the spotlight with everyone who was with him, you didn’t have a choice in the matter but sure enough you had a great big smile on your face at that moment.

He was compassionate, loving, kind, fun, generous, dare we say crazy for life. A Rockstar. A legend who was humbled to share the stage with you.

Above all, Henry was a proud husband and father. His incredible love for his wife and children was radiant and knew no boundaries. He was each of their biggest fans and unapologetically let anyone and everyone know.

Henry is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, his children Tyler (24), Kayla (21), Ryan (18), Dylan (16) and Alexa (13). Henry is survived by his parents, Wallace and Fung Ngor Lee. His siblings Allen and May, Gordon and Karen, David and Lily, and Jeanne and Gino. Cherished by Jennifer’s grandmother Yuet Ying Soohoo and Jennifer’s parents John and Gail Lee. He is also survived by Jennifer’s sibling Karen and Michael, Jessica and Daniel, and Kristin and Steven. Proud uncle to his nieces and nephews, Jocelyn, Tiffany, Matthew, Julian, Mitchell, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Bella, Emma, Luca, Zoe, Max, Olivia and Logan. He also is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
