Obituary of Marie Christine Tumminello

 Marie Christine Tumminello of Manalapan passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Centra State Medical Center. Christine was born in Brooklyn, New York, and she resided in Manalapan for 32 years. Christine was employed as a School Bus Driver for Monroe Township since 2005. She was an animal lover and rescued and owned many pets throughout her life. Christine was also a religious person, looking to her Christian faith in times of difficulty and giving thanks for her many blessings.

Christine was predeceased by her husband Lawrence in 2004.  She is survived by daughter Laura and her husband Kevin; daughter JoAnna; sister Lucille; grandchildren Larry, Filomena, Vince, Christina, Benny, Michael, and Rosalina, and a large extend family.  

Christine had a special relationship with her sister, Lucille.  They enjoyed spending time together and took several long road trips over the years. 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20, from 2pm to 5pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge on Monday, March 21, at 10 am.
