Obituary of Edward Wrubel

Edward Wrubel, 94, of Howell, passed away on Sunday, December 19^th, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Newark, New Jersey and he lived in Union before moving to Freehold and then Howell.  Edward was a graduate of Rutgers University and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.  He served in the United States Navy from 1945-1946 and was a proud veteran for World War II.  Edward was a supervisor of Internal Auditing for AT&T Technologies (Western Electric) for 34 years before retiring in 1985.   Ed enjoyed spending time with family, travel, reading and handywork.

Edward was predeceased by his wife Doris; son Walter; and sisters Stella and Jeanette . He is survived by his daughter Maureen and her husband Thomas; daughter Kathleen; daughter Eileen and her husband Dale; grandchildren Danielle, Sarah, Christopher, Jessica  and Alison; and great grandchildren Mackenzie and Mikayla.                

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, January 9^th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral service will be held at funeral home Monday, January 10^th at 10:00am.
