Obituary of Frank Peter Cipully
Frank Peter Cipully, 85, of Brick, formerly of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Ocean Medical Center surrounded by family. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he resided in Manalapan for 54 years before moving to Brick last year. He was known affectionately by friends and family as Junior and Frankie Onions. In his spare time Frank enjoyed drawing, coloring, playing Bocce, telling jokes, watching old movies and visiting friends and family. He was happiest when he was with his kids and grandkids. He was a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5903 of Englishtown and a past member of the Yorktowne Social Club. Frank worked as a jeweler in the Diamond District of Manhattan for over 50 years. His work is well known throughout the area.
Frank is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; his son Frank and his wife Lisa; daughter Christina and her husband Michael; daughter Monica; son Vincent and his wife Cathy; sister Theresa; grandchildren Daniel, Corinne, Kaitlynn, Anthony, Michael, Kayla and Kylie; and great grandchildren Holden, Brynn, Jameson and Jace.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, October 13th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown on Thursday, October 14th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery and Mausoleum, Marlboro.
