Obituary of Alan Robert Winik

Alan Winik, 69, of Freehold, passed away at Centra State Medical Center surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Alan was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and resided in Freehold for the last 35 years.  Alan had a successful career as President of L. Winik & Associates.  He volunteered with youth sports and served as president and coach of the Freehold Area Pop Warner Football League, as well as an umpire for the Freehold Township Little League.  Alan was a thrill-seeker and had the opportunity to drive on the Autobahn in Germany. He was a diehard NY Jets fan and season ticket holder.

Alan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Alan was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Lynn.  He is survived by his wife Diane; son Aaron and his wife Amelia; daughter Amy and her husband Dan; sister Sue; brother Jeffrey and grandchildren Dakota, Landon and Samuel.
