Obituary of Margaret P Rohs

Margaret P. Rohs, 88 of Monroe, NJ passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at The Chelsea at Manalapan.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY and worked as an administrative assistant for McKesson Pharmaceutical in Greenpoint, NY.  Margaret enjoyed music and dancing and was proud of her daily exercise workouts.  She loved her family most of all.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband William in 1989 and her brother James Tracey.  She is survived by her four children and their spouses, William and Patricia Rohs of Monroe; Lori and Gary Girolamo of Manalapan; Karen Rohs and Toby Gilchrist of Thornwood, NY and Susan and William Markunas of Glendale, NY; her sister Maureen Russo and 7 grandchildren, Lauren, Dennis, Kristin, Sarah, Michael, Renee and Rebecca.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 3-7pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ  07726.  A funeral service will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10:00am at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Queens, NY.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude.org.  To find directions or leave a message of condolence, please visit our website at www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.
