So happy I was able to be at Gene’s funeral. He was a kind, gentle man and we Philadelphia cousins loved him.
Mary, Katie, Margaret, so good to see you again. Mary, thanks for giving me your rose to put on Gene’s coffin.

I was delighted to have Gene as my teacher for over 8 years, when he was my boss at Soundesign. We stayed in touch after that, and over the years, I considered myself lucky he regarded me as a friend. Gene was uplifting, smart, generous and funny, but most of all, he was a good man, and a family man who never forgot his Irish roots. Knowing he has now reunited with those who left before him, I am sure he is in a happy place, and I am thankful our paths crossed.
My deepest condolences to Gene Junior and Kevin, may you find comfort in knowing you will be reunited with both your parents many, many years from now.

Gene was my mentor for many years. He became a friend, whom I always turned to for advice, personal or professional. My family has fond memories of GENE. One of the most generous & smartest people in my life. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

My dear Uncle Gene, So many memories to fit into this space. First and foremost is all the laughter. You, Dad, and Uncle Jack are some of the funniest men I've known. How my Mom would giggle and laugh; it was so contagious. The fun Thanksgiving dinners---didn't matter if it was in the penthouse of the Statler Hilton on the parade route, in a restaurant, and at one of our houses...Thanksgiving is and will always be my favorite holiday for those memories. You treated me and my sisters like we were your own daughters.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until
we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Much love from da niece, Jennifer Anne

Gene was one of smartest, good spirited people that I have met. He made the years that we worked together at SDI both pleasant and productive. Although we didn't speak often, I will miss talking or emailing with him and just knowing he is with us. He is now in heaven watching over us. Love you Gene.
