Obituary of Maria Olsen

Maria Olsen, of Morganville, passed away on May 21, 2021. Maria was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, and moved to NJ in her early twenties to pursue a career in the entertainment field; she was a dancer, actress and model.

Maria was an extra in a few Steve McQueen movies and landed many advertisement jobs as a commercial print model. She was an active member of the Screen Actors Guild. In addition, Maria was an avid reader and photographer. Being an animal lover, her two dogs, Misty and Lisa were a special part of her life.

Maria was married to the love of her life, Sam, and they were fortunate to travel extensively throughout their 67 years together.  They resided in both New York City and Morganville, NJ.

Maria was predeceased by her parents, Eugenio and Elinora Coco. She is survived by her loving husband, Sam.
Service is Monday, May 24 at 11 a.m. at the Holmdel Cemetery, 900 Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ.
