Obituary of Mabel N Mount

Mabel Mount, 81, of Freehold passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Morganville and resided in freehold for over 50 years. Before her retirement, Mabel worked as a Transportation Director for Tinton Falls Board of Education, she also was a bus driver for Freehold Regional High School district for 26 years. Mabel loved cards, bowling at Howell Lanes and softball.

She was predeceased by her parents George and Lulu Beal; her siblings Lucy Eckel, George Beal, Florence Eckel and Violet Ludvick and her husband Harry in 2018. Mabel is survived by her siblings Betty Downey and Joseph (Barbara) Beal; her daughter, Susan Lord; her sons and daughters-in-law, Harry Scott and Lee Lee and Stephen James and Christine; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and many close family friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2-6 pm and Monday from 10-11 am at the funeral home with the funeral service following at 11 am.
