Obituary of Dyliane Lespinasse

Please share a memory of Dyliane to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our beloved Dyliane was called to heaven on November 24, 2014 to be with her father, Lucien and sister, Rose-Marie and to prepare the way for us. She immigrated to the US in 1965 from her native Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and was joined shortly thereafter by her mother and siblings. She dedicated her life to the well-being of her family. She obtained her Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University at night while holding a full-time job at the Equitable. She remained at AXA-Equitable holding multiple positions in finance until her retirement , a wonderful 40-year career. Upon her retirement she became the primary care-giver for her mother, Lucie with whom she lived in Manalapan. She was a selfless person and always looked for an opportunity to help others who needed some assistance. She was an incomparable daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved a long drive down to Cape May in the summer or to sit quietly at the shore in Ocean Grove listening to the crackling waves. She always enjoyed learning and was studying Spanish with her friends, Mary and Marta. Her loyal friend, Georgette was a source of strength for her and stayed by her side to the end. She is survived by her mother, Lucie Bellande Lespinasse; siblings and their spouses, Nadege and George Skalski, Lionel and Natalie Lespinasse, Gary and Chris Lespinasse, Ghislaine Lespinasse-Bond, Marie-Florence and Bill Aldrich, and Maria Munoz. Also surviving are nieces Joelle Miller, Danielle and Brianna Lespinasse, Michaelle Bond and Francesca Aldrich; nephews, Gregory Maximilien, Jean-Pierre, Cedric and Alexandre Lespinasse, Cameron Bond and Everett Aldrich. They were her pride and joy and they will greatly miss their Aunt Dylou. She is also survived by her dearest cousin, Elizabeth Guilbaud-Cox and her spouse, Jason and countless family members and friends. A gathering to celebrate her life will take place Friday, Nov. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 No., Manalapan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lupus Foundation of America , 2000 L Street NW, Suite 410, Washington DC 20036 or to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT.
