Ruth W. Smith, 85, of Manalapan, passed away on November 17, 2014 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Montgomery, NY, she lived in Bloomfield before moving to Manalapan 45 years. She was a licensed real estate agent for Prudential Real Estate, a den mother for the Cub Scouts of America and an active member of the Battleground Historical Society. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph in 2003. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Hattie of Texas, Scott of Leonardo and Stuart of California and a grandson, Zachary.
