Dear Martha and David, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad passing this week. I have many fun memories of visiting your farm as a child with my family. My Mom, Phyllis Hutchinson Conway (passed in 2012), was your Dad’s cousin - they were born in the same year and she also got married to Bob Conway (passed in 2020) in the same year your parents married. I vividly remember during one of our family visits when your parents transformed your dining room into a bakery for making pies and apple cider doughnuts for the stand. What pioneers your parents were in re-imagining what farm stands could be for the future! My siblings, Janet (WY), Betsy (CO) and David (NJ), join me in sending our deepest condolences to you and your families .

Carroll was a life long friend of my father, Charles Binaco. He was the sweetest man I ever met. I will always fondly remember riding around the orchard on the golf cart with him and drinking wine in his kitchen. So sad. Prayers to his family.
