Obituary of Iole Kollar

Iole Kollar (nee Di Tommaso), 93, of Bradenton, FL passed away in St. Petersburg, FL on January 21, 2021. She was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. Iole attended Youngstown State University and graduated with a Physical Education degree. She resided in Freehold, NJ for 33 years and was physical education teacher for the Freehold Regional High School District at Marlboro High School. Retiring after 33 years, Iole settled in Bradenton, FL in 1994. Iole was predeceased by her husband Earl in 1984; Iole is survived by her daughter Karen Kollar, Son John (Eileen), grandchildren Jena Cochrane, Bryan and Kevin Kollar, Michael and Johnathan Burk, Jesse Dwyer, and Stevie Dwyer (deceased) and great grandchildren Alex, Zefram and Athena Cochrane. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 29th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:00 pm at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold with interment to follow at the parish cemetery.
