Stanley Lynn, 87, of Marlboro, passed away on Friday, Jan 1, 2021.  Stan was born in Paterson, NJ and his family moved to Brooklyn when he was three years old.  Stan graduated from Tilden High School.  He was attending Pace University when he was drafted into the Army during The Korean War.  He served in the Far East.

When he returned to Brooklyn he met his wife, Fran, on a blind date set up by his buddy Sammy.  Fran and Stan were married for 62 1/2 years.  Stan worked full time and attended Pace University at night.  He graduated with a degree in accounting and his daughter Nadene, born in 1959, attended his graduation.  His daughter Elise was born in 1962.

Stan worked for an accounting firm and then switched careers. He became a motion picture film buyer and picked which films would go into different theaters.  He often saw 6 - 7 movies a week.   After many years he went back to accounting and was the comptroller of Jewish Child Care Agency.

After he retired he began volunteering for Meals on Wheels and was part of the Vita Tax Program.

Stan was pre-deceased by his parents, Freida & Archie, mother-in-law Sarah, sister Annette and sister-in-law, Sheila as well as other relatives.

He is survived by his wife, Fran, daughter & son-in-law Nadene & Steve and daughter & son-in-law, Elise & Bruce as well as grandchildren Adam & Brianna, Spencer & Emma, Shane, Matthew & Bryant and Shannon and the light of his life, great granddaughter, Payton.

He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews as well as many long time friends.

We love you Stan.  Rest in peace.
