Obituary of Carmen J Martinez

Carmen Martinez, 96, of Freehold died on Thursday, December 10, 2020.  Born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico she moved to New York before settling in Freehold 60 + years ago.  Carmen was employed by the Freehold Regional High School District as a bus driver before retiring in 2002.  

She was predeceased by her husband Felipe, daughter Yolanda, and son Rafael.   Carmen is survived by her daughter Norma Alicea (Wilfredo); siblings Lilliam Rivera (Tony) and Armando Logo (Teresa); grandchildren Michael and Jacqueline Alicea; and daughter-in-law Miriam Alvarez. 

A funeral mass will be on Monday, December 14^th at 10:30 am at the St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold.  Interment to follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.  In keeping with the CDC guidelines, please wear a mask and social distance during the mass.  To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
