Obituary of William E Doubraski
William E Doubraski, Bill, passed away at his home in Manalapan, NJ on the morning of November 23rd, 2020. He was born on September 29th, 1948, to his mother Anna Mayotte and raised in Brooklyn, NY. An avid baseball fan, he became a lifelong Mets fan after the Brooklyn Dodgers moved out West. People and neighbors always knew him to be kind and generous, always sharing food and favors. Bill was a proud Marine and a Vietnam War Veteran. He continued his career of service with the Port Authority Police Department of New York/New Jersey, including his time as the Night-Tour Commander at Ground Zero. He was a proud hero that loved good food and a nice morning at the flea market. Those that lived and worked around him were glad to have known him. He is survived by his wife Moraima and stepson Marc, sister Carol, cousin Ellen and her husband Dan, daughter Beth-Anne and her husband Chris, son Billy, and his grandchildren Caitlin, Thomas, and Liam. Unfortunately, due to Covid we are limited.
