Obituary of Toby A DelGiorno

Toby A. DelGiorno, 87, of Manchester passed away at home on Thursday, October 22, 2020.  He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.   Toby was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War from 1951 – 1953.  Toby received the Purple Heart for wounds received in Korea on July 6, 1951.  He was a retired banker for Chase Bank, Brooklyn.

He is predeceased by his wife Patricia; sisters Aida Lacalzi, Celia Pellegrino, Inez Russo and brother Armando DelGiorno.  Toby is survived by his brothers Vito and Joseph DelGiorno; sister Maryann Avella; and many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be Monday, October 26th , from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Freeman Manalapan – Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9, Manalapan.  A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 26th at 11:00 am at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Lakehurst.  Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s of the Lake, Lakewood.  Condolences and directions can be found on freemanfuneralhomes.com.
