I had the great pleasure of working with Richard. He was such terrific guy. Tremendously funny and kind. His favorite phrase (in jest, of course), was "Get to work!" I still think of him often and the description of his Christmas Eve dinner.

Rich was one of the nicest, kindest and loving people I knew. He literally changed the course of my working life.
He was always willing to help his coworkers and patients anyway he could. He was always ready with a story or joke, he was fun to work with.
When I first met Rich I would make deliveries to patients, sometimes in NYC or out on the Island. Rich would always know of a great place to eat wherever I went, he had a HUGE Rolodex just full of restaurants, whatever you wanted.
Rich loved his family deeply. He always talked about Christopher and Stephanie and how proud of them he was. Of course he always talked about Fran and when the grandkids came how happy and content he was.
My wife and I will miss him very much. He left us too soon.

Rich was the greatest Colleague you could have. We always knew Rich was coming because you could hear him whistling. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Catalina

Rich was so full of life. He made me laugh every single day at work. So many talks about our morning commute, and delicious restaurant and food recommendations. He always spoke of his grand kids and family. Like his obituary states, he never wanted the spotlight or acknowledgement for his hard work. It was an honor to work with him. So much of what I learned in Specialty Pharmacy came from his teachable moments. My sincere and deepest condolences to his entire family. My heart is with you all.

Rich was one of the few who trained me at my first job of being a Pharmacist. He was always so kind, caring and funny. Even after not working with him for over 8 years, he would always be in touch with me to see how I was doing. I am truly saddened by this loss and will always remember what an amazing person he was. Lots of love to all of you during this time.
