Obituary of David Trojan

David H. Trojan, 82, of Freehold, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Centre State Medical Center, Freehold. He was born and raised in Freehold and was a lifelong resident. Dave served in the United States Marine Core from 1957 – 1960.   He was a past captain of the Freehold First Aid Squad and a member of the Marine Core League.  Before retiring, he was a General Manager at Melard Manufacturing Corp, in Passaic, NJ.  

Dave is predeceased by his grandson Michael Maghan.  He is survived by his wife Fran; daughter Danielle Trojan: son Dana Joline; step daughters Karen Thomas (Chris), Denna Weston, Lisa Maghan (Steven), Sherri Tremmel (Lance), and Deborah Hill; step son, Devin Partyka (Wendy); sister Lynn Beem; nephew David Beem; grandchildren Adam Soderlund, Ashley Maghan, Michayla Maghan, Steven Maghan, Cory Larsen, Dylan Cannata, Courtney and Brittany Joline.                                                             

A viewing will be held at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold on Thursday, September 17th from 4pm - 8pm.   A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 18th at 8:45am.   A burial to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey at 10:30 am.
