Obituary of Isabella Rose May

Isabella Rose May, 92, of Manalapan, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at CentraState Medical Center. She was born in New York City, New York and resided in Manalapan for the past 54 years. Before retiring, Isabella was a Secretary for the Manalapan Englishtown Schools, Manalapan N J. She was also president of her union. She enjoyed many activities such as Bowling, Bocce, Mahjong & wine making. 

She is predeceased by her Sister Pauline Semenza & Grandson Michael May. Isabella is survived by husband James of 61 years; daughter Donna A. Heim (Greg); son James J.May (Jennifer); sister Frances Chiarello; grandchildren Nicole, Jillian, Melissa, Jennifer, Robert and Kayla; great grandchild Sophia Isabella.   

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.   A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, July 22 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10:00 am.  Entombment to follow at St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum, Freehold.  To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
