To Ernies family my deepest condolences on his passing.Growing up in Carteret I remember my parents taking me to the park on Carteret Avenue to watch him play softball with his brother under the lights. Not sure but I think they played for Sacred Heart Church. He was the catcher and Julius played the outfield. They were great. Rest In Peace Ernie and may god hold you in his arms and watch over you. Will always remember you in my prayers..
John soltesz Jr. And family Dawn, Helen Lauren and John the 3rd.

To the most important male figure in my life and the biggest ray of sunshine, I love you endlessly. Thank you so much for all the light and positivity you continuously spread, and all the smiles and laughter you share. Thank you for your newspaper clippings, consistent support, and setting your goals for my soccer career higher than I set myself. Thank you for always enthusiastically responding to my "grandpa" calls and being the best food critic I know. Thank you for always holding my hand and wanting me to stay longer I could. Most importantly, thank you for reminding me to shamelessly express my love and appreciation to the people I care about. Words cannot fathom how much I love you, and how much you mean to all of us. Your impact will live on. Rest easy with Maxie and my bun, and know we'll always be with you.

I can’t write anything to commemorate , as it would fall short . I hope to end up half the man my father was . He was my best friend . He was a dedicated father , husband , friend , and brother . Always concerned about the well being of others . He gave me my deep foundation in my faith . He gave me my passion for sports and love of animals especially dogs . He showed me by example how to live your life with a good moral character . I was blessed to have him as my father .
