Obituary of Veronica C Healy

Veronica C. Healy, age 85, of Manalapan, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital. Veronica was born in the Bronx, New York and resided in Manalapan with her children and grandchildren for 56 years.

Veronica was predeceased by her parents Anders & Charlotte, her husband John “Joe”; son Stephen and brother Neil. She is survived by her daughter Maureen, son Peter & wife Sheryl, daughter Joann & husband Bill, daughter-in-law Doreen, sister-in-law Gina, nephews Chris and Neil, their families, and her beloved grandchildren. They will all live on in her memory.

Ronnie’s love for her 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren surpassed life and death. Erin, Meagan, Christopher, Kristen, Kyle, Kellen, Jamie, Sean, Scott, Kevin, Tara, Maddie, Alexa, Billy, Ava, Abigail, Evan, Hayden, Camden, Madeline H., Mary Margaret,  Elizabeth, Anna Maria, Nora and Rylee will never know a day without her love.

After moving from the Bronx, Veronica owned and operated Buster Brown Shoe Store in Old Bridge, NJ for over 18 years and acted as a pillar of her community. She could call out a shoe size anywhere around town and knew all of the people attached to those feet.

Her life was wholly dedicated to her family and her beloved poodles, Rocky and Sam. The health& happiness of her loved ones brought her immense joy. Ronnie, Mom, Mom Mom, Grandma –  regardless of what you called her, she will be undoubtedly missed for generations to come.
