I am so saddened by the loss of my dear sister in law Elinor, more like a Sister. My mind is numb, with losing my brother Jr. (John) and now 16 days later Elinor. Jr is probably saying hey El, knew you couldn’t live without me!! Well they are together and reunited with their son Jimmy and all their family and friends. You both are a great loss to our family. I will love and miss you till we meet again. Love your sister, Cathy, Sister#3

I am mourning the death of John and just found out today 12/14 that Elinor has died. What a beautiful person she was. I shared many a lunch at Mike's diner in Staten Island with both John and Elinor. I loved Elinor like a mother. I loved hearing stories about her childhood, her years working as a cook at Moore Catholic H.S. (I'm pretty sure that is the school), her family, anything she had to say was of interest to me. She had such a beautiful smile and a kind and generous heart. My prayers go out to the entire Chiusano family. May God give them the strength to go on without both John and Elinor. With deepest sympathy, Pamela Wilson

I saw Elinor as humble, egoless and selfless. Never as a sister-in-law, always as family. Now that Jr. and Elinor are gone I feel an emptiness. May the angels lead you dear Elinor into paradise; May the martyrs receive you at your arrival, And lead you to the holy city Jerusalem. May the choirs of angels receive you, And with Lazarus, once poor, May you have eternal rest.
