My deepest condolences to Beth and all of Jerry`sF family members. Jerry was a very unique and special person. He was a FANTASTIC Teacher, he had the patience of a .Saint with me. Having had the opportunity to study and hang out with him for a few years has left me with the fondest of memories. His MANY talents were AWE INSPIRING!
He was a kind and generous Soul, the likes of which I have never met since. REST IN PEACE.

Over the years I’ve played dozens of gigs with Jerry. Not only was the music amazing but so was the conversation. He was always quick to offer me advise on business and music and I enjoyed every moment. A few months back Jerry came to my studio and played with myself and drummer Paul Francis who was giving a clinic. He was pretty sick that day but somehow he managed to do a fantastic job and offered the kids some amazing advice. We spoke about doing more clinics like that but his health just wouldn’t allow it. I have such great memories of Jerry and I know he touched so many lives. I’ll miss him dearly and will always cherish his memories I have of this remarkable guy.

My sincere condolences to Beth and all family members, many of you that I have met. My heart is broken as I know yours is. I loved every moment that Jerry and I spent playing music together, talking and hanging. He was of course a tremendous musician and guitarist, of the highest order, but he was so much more than that and that's why he & I hit it off. Jerry was a no nonsense, no BS, straight shooting guy. He was honest, caring and loving. He was always complimentary and encouraging to me. He always knocked me out with his amazing abilities, while remaining so humble. One in a million he was. I am so sorry for your loss and heartbroken myself. I wish all of you and especially Beth much strength during this difficult time. My heart is with you. Jerry Topinka was one of the finest gentleman I have ever known and one of the finest musical artists I have ever seen
His talent spoke volumes !! As soon as he began playing he captivated his audience
His wonderful warm and easy going personality and terrific sense of humor always made a person feel good

Jerry was a friend, mentor, and is and forever will be the greatest guitar player I have ever seen. He could play any genre flawlessly. He was the most influential guitar teacher I ever had, but he was much more than that. We not only talked about music, but we talked about life. He helped to shape my music and without realizing it he helped to shape my life. I will always cherish his stories and advice during our lessons, and he also gave me one of my first jobs working at his music school/studio. The times when he would come see me perform and guest with my band were legendary. More recently, I appreciate the gigs he has given me at the King George Inn in Bristol, PA. Jerry thought of others, not just of himself. He was as generous a musician as he was a friend. My condolences go out to Jerry’s entire family. Jerry kept playing, booking, and performing gigs until the day he died, which will always amaze me the drive he had and the will to keep on truckin.’ I know he is performing with the greats right now at the great gig in the sky. God bless.

Worked with Jerry for 13 or so years at Freehold Music Center and was always amazed at his talent
But he was more than a talent... he was also a talent in friendship and we became like brothers. We talked often... about music, guitars, recording, family.
I was devastated by his illness and now by his passing. He is a legend to me and i am sure to others.
Raise your glass to a comrade we have lost! Your pain is over and your afterlife will be a joy! God bless!

As a member of Chailo, I can say Jerry was like a brother to me. He was always there while we were on the road to listen to any problems I had. We always talked a lot about life. He was a kind person with a charisma and sense of humor everyone loved. Although over the years as we got older, we didn't see each other very much,
