Obituary of Mary Ann Enea

Mary Ann Enea, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 25th at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after battling Amyloidosis for about 3 years. Before her illness, Mary Ann was a retiree previously employed by Verizon, Brooklyn, NY.

She leaves behind her husband, Salvatore Enea; daughter and son-in-law Denise Enea & Salvatore Ippolito, and grandson Salvatore; her daughter and son-in-law Sally & Daniel Struble, and granddaughters Danni, Riley & Jordan; her daughter and son-in-law Jessica Enea & Anthony Giorgio and granddaughters Kyleigh & Gisella. Mary Ann is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Victoria & John Kern; as well as her sister and brother-in-law Deborah & Patrick Haramija.

Mary Ann was a resident of Marlboro, NJ for 26 years. She was an active parishioner of St. Gabriel’s Church. Mary Ann had a smile that would light up the room and a heart of gold. She was extremely giving and generous. She left her mark on any one she met. She will be truly missed.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main Street, Freehold on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.  There will be a funeral liturgy on Monday at 10:30 AM at St. Gabriel’s Main Church, Marlboro; followed by interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
