I knew Bobby from the NYSE and I know it's a bit cliche to say he was a great guy, but he really was a great guy. He was quick with a joke, helped me with questions, and was just liked by everyone who knew him.
Rest in peace, Bobby. I know you'll be missed, but you'll never be forgotten.

I love my baby brother Bobby from the moment he was born, 21 months apart we played together on our Brooklyn streets and in Coney Island at our grandmother’s bungalow colony a block from the beach, looked after each other, shared the ups and down of our lives and worked hard to assure that connection would last forever. We learned that love of family is strong and should be what keeps our lights shinning brightly. Our brief reassuring telephone calls mattered so much to me to know that he was there. He was a devoted son to our Mom when our father died young and found his way to become a Trader on the New York Stock Exchange for 40 years. He brought our Mom incredible pleasure when he met and married loving Josephine (Jo), recently celebrated 47 years together and years to follow they shared the joy of the birth of their two beautiful, loving children, Craig and Jennifer. Bobby was a great uncle to his nephew Jared and niece Margo, and as his nephew said, he listened intently to their stories and gave helpful advice and much support. He was a great bowler, hitting the strikes as if it were second nature, loved the game of golf whether he played it or watched it, joined his daughter in her love for the Warriors and was very proud of both his children’s accomplishments and praised them for how they dealt with challenges. He continued his playful and joyful manner when he became the proud BeBop to his two adorable super loving grandchildren who couldn’t get enough of his love and praise. He was a role model for all of us as he tried to live life with gusto developing close friendships and memmories and always being the life of the party at our Christmas holiday get togethers and barbeques. He showed us how to be brave always with humor when he had to tackle continuous health issues and left us knowing how precious life is. Every day in every way we will remember him, speak of him, become funnier and celebrate his life and love by staying together and sharing our lives. Bobby will always have a seat at the head of the table. You will always be my baby brother, xoHolly

Bob was one of a kind. One of the few that everybody liked, and so many loved. Bob liked golf, and cigars, and Thursday night dinner's with the guys. He was so proud of and loved his family! I will miss his smile, talking sports, reminiscing about the NYSE good old days, having a cigar together, and his comically arguing with Nick - as only best friends of 50+ years can. I love you Bob - Thursday night dinner's will never be the same!

I posted on Facebook how our NYSE family lost another good one but it wasn’t just them it was also our small group of friends that came together about 10 to 12 years ago when we were going through some tough times. Once a week we would get together. We would laugh we would joke and sometimes bust chops, believe it or not Bobby even wrote a poem about us and it was funny but it also touched us all. No matter how I felt before I always felt better after spending time with Bobby. I love you brother, Rest In Peace my dear friend!

Dear Bob,
I have been dreading this day for a long time. I know life became tough at times for you, but you always pulled through with your great smile and much grace.
Through our 47 years, we have made so many wonderful memories together and I will miss your wit and wisdom.
You managed always to keep a positive outlook, which was a special quality, unique to you.
Because we have such wonderful children and such a strong extended family, this will carry me through a rough time without you. You always set such a beautiful example, which we will keep in our hearts. I will miss you and love you to the moon and back. Till we meet again ...
Love always,
Jo
