I remember Eric as a sweet, shy middle-schooler. My daughter,Zoe, dated Eric and we all hung out at Luke and Ellenmary DeTore's house. The picture I posted was a day I took the kids to GA. Eric kept hiding from pictures so I grabbed him and him in a big hug while Zoe took a pic of him. We had a big picnic in the parking lot by my truck. It was a great day. Eric, you will be missed more than words can say.

Dearest Eric,
Though we never met, we were family. Witnessing the immense outpouring of love over the last few days proved what a wonderful, sweet and talented young man you were.
There is an old Eskimo proverb that says, “perhaps they are not stars in the sky but rather openings where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are happy.”
