Will always remember when Marvin and I stood while playing the Army section of the Service Medley at band concerts. We were closest then. That's when his sense of humor was in 2nd place.
We played many seasons together with both John Lukenbill in Asbury Park and Chris Pedersen in Perth Amboy
Marvin was a long time member in the clarinet section of the Garden State Symphonic Band, dating back to when it was named the Bay City Band in the 60's. Marvin always had a joke and lightened the lives of his fellow band members with his overall sense of humor. Marvin will be missed.
