Obituary of Florence Brenda Scafidi

Florence “Brenda” Scafidi, 85, of Manalapan, passed away at Roosevelt Care Center, Old Bridge on Saturday, October 27, 2018.  Born in Norwich, England, Brenda emigrated to the United States in 1955.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Violet, Hurbert, Stanly, Ruben, Jack & Ethel.  She is survived by her husband, Joseph Scafidi; her children, Donnamarie & Joseph Carchesio, John & Ann Scafidi, Stephen & Suzzane Scafidi, and Joseph & Barbara Scafidi; 11 grandchildren, Laura, Gina, John Jr., Angelo, Sarah, Ryan, Nick, Tommy, Olivia, Alexandra & Jack; and two great grandchildren, Ella and Joseph.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan on Tuesday, October 30th from 4 to 8 pm.  There will be a funeral liturgy at St. Thomas More Church on Wednesday, October 31st at 10:00 am; followed by burial at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
