Obituary of William John Ambrose sr

William J. Ambrose (Bill), 52, of Freehold, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at home. Bill was born in the Bronx, NY and has resided in Freehold for most of his life. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold. He graduated from St. John Vianney High School and was a self-employed carpenter. Billy was an avid NY Giants and Mets fan and loved all animals, especially his beloved dog, Logan and his cat, Skittles. He was predeceased by his father, William in 1984. He is survived by his mother, Theresa of Freehold; his two sisters and brother-in-law, Karen Connelly of Howell and Danielle and Thomas Kelly Jr. of Lanoka Harbor; four nieces and nephews, Heather and Daniel Xavier of Freehold, and Thomas and Rylie Kelly of Lanoka Harbor; and three great nieces, Casey, Emily and Zoey Xavier. Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, July 18, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
