Obituary of Edward Henry Reese

Edward H. Reese, 72, of the Covered Bridge section of Manalapan, passed away suddenly, at his vacation home with his family, in the Poconos on July 4, 2014. Born in New York City, he lived in Cliffwood Beach for 38 years before moving to Manalapan seven years ago. He was a proud United Stated Navy veteran and worked as a mechanic for TWA Airlines in New York for 30 years before retiring. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris; his son and daughter-in-law, Edward III and Kathleen of Howell; his daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Edward Billings of Morganville; his sister, Marilyn Cioffi of Oakland; and his grandson, Edward IV "Eddie". Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 10th, from 2 to 4 PM with a Navy Honor Guard ceremony at 3:30 PM, and from 7 to 9 PM, with a funeral service at 7:30 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan- Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. Interment will be private.
