Obituary of Vincenza Maiorana

Vincenza Maiorana, 72, of Manalapan, passed away on July 5, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, she has resided in the Covered Bridge section of Manalapan for the past seven years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. Vincenza was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Sebastian; her children and son-in-law, Jean Marie and John Basselini and Joseph Maiorana, both of Manalapan; her mother, Amelia Frascinella of Coram, NY; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Ginny Maurici of Smithtown, NY; sister, Adele Payne of Long Island, NY; and grandchildren, Vincent, Amanda and Casey Basselini. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 8th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will be private.
