Obituary of Myron Joseph DiVittorio

Myron J. DiVittorio, 70, of Marlboro Township, passed away on June 11, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, he has resided in Morganville for the past 38 years. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Marlboro and a proud U.S. Marine Corp. veteran. Myron was chief technology officer for the Visiting Nurse Association of NY for many years before retiring. He will be missed by his family and friends but especially by his devoted grandchildren, who were his life. Myron was predeceased by his brother, Roy. He is survived by his wife, Anita; his two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Colleen and Thomas and Jennifer, both of Charlotte, NC; and four grandchildren, T.J., Jamie, Jack and Sara. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, June 13th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel's Main Church, Route 79, Marlboro. Interment will be private.
