Obituary of Carol Agnes Walling

Carol A. Walling, 69, of Howell, passed away at home on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Bradley Beach before moving to Howell 36 years ago. Carol was a communicant of St. Veronica Catholic Church in Howell and a member of their Legion of Mary. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Adele O'Dowd, and her brother-in-law, Lawrence Scott. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Brian; five children and their spouses, Joan and Thomas Mauser of Honey Brook, PA, Diane Berg of Toms River, Victoria and Michael Crawford of Freehold, Kate and Christopher Schwab of Brick, and Jacob and Katherine Walling of Henderson, NV; three siblings and their spouses, Doris and Guy Peluso of West Long Branch, Janet Scott of Howell, and Edward and Roberta O'Dowd of Lodi; 12 grandchildren who will miss her greatly, Emily, TJ, Billy, Michael, Jon, Nichole, Christian, Damon, Joseph, Kylie, Gavin and Chase; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at St. Veronica Church, Howell. Interment will be private.
