Obituary of Connie Geneva Slocum

Connie Slocum, 61, of Howell, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Neptune, she resided in the Freehold area most of her life before moving to Howell in 2010. She retired in 2009 as the deputy clerk for the Monmouth County Freeholders where she worked for 36 years. Connie was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Ruth Slocum, and her sister, Vicki Lynn Louro. She is survived by her longtime companion, Richard Carlson; her brother-in-law, Joseph Louro; and her two nephews, Joseph and James Louro. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial gathering Wednesday, May 7th, from 4:00 PM until the memorial service at 6:30 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold.
