Obituary of Susan Giglio

Susan Giglio, 89, of Freehold Borough, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Matawan, she has resided in Freehold Borough for most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church and also attended St. Rose of Lima School. Sue was a seamstress for Ohlberg Dress Factory and then Sporn's Dress Factory in Freehold for 34 years before retiring in 1978. She was predeceased by her husband, Carmen, in 1967; and siblings, Gerry Polverino, Tony Trezza, Mary DeLucia and Katherine "Dolly" Polverino. She is survived by her brother, Sammy Polverino; and nieces and nephews, Phyllis and Joe DeLucia, Tony Trezza Jr., Gerry Polverino Jr., Kay Boutote and Mary DiBenedetto and her long time companion, Harvey Frank. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, 7/15 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, 7/16 at 10:00 AM, at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
