Obituary of Rita Jo-Ann Poster

Rita J. Poster, 68, of Naples, Florida, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at home with her loving husband. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Greenwood Lake, NY before moving to Naples 16 years ago. She worked for Ace Products in Manhattan for many years before retiring. Rita was a devoted wife, sister and aunt and will be missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Frances Lombardi, and her brother, Ritchie; her father and mother-in-law, Max and Pauline Poster; and her beloved dog, Mushie. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, George; her brother and sister-in-law, James and Vera Lombardi; brother-in-law, Alan Poster; nieces Alana (Marc) Fanelli and Ariana Lombardi; great niece, Isabella; and many friends, especially Maryann Tarnowski and her daughters, Patricia, Denise and Sandi, Delores Dilorenzo, Joe and Joan Caramella, Mark and Laura Gelman and Ed and Linda Powell. Visitation will be Saturday, March 22nd, from 6 to 9 PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan New Jersey. A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday at 11:30 AM at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook New Jersey.
