Obituary of Ernest Christian Kiefer

Ernest C. Kiefer, 90, of Lincroft, Middletown, passed away on March 10, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born and raised in Staten Island, he lived there until moving to Lincroft. He was a proud WWII Army veteran. Ernest was president of Methods Research Corp., Staten Island for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Colts Neck Reformed Church, Colts Neck. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, H. Irene; 3 children and their spouses, Kris and Connie of Wesley Chapel, FL, Russell and Mary Jo of Holland, Michigan, and Gregg and Mary Lou of Holmdel, NJ; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, March 14th, from 4 to 8 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced at Colts Neck Reformed Church, Colts Neck.
