Obituary of Manuel Pavao

Manuel Pavao, 85, of Millstone Township, passed away on March 3, 2014 at his home in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was born on February 16, 1929 in the Village of Mosteiros in the Azores Islands of Portugal. Since 1959, he was a founding partner and director of Jocama Construction Corp. in Old Bridge, one of New Jersey's largest private construction firms. Manuel was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish Church, Millstone. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margarida; his son and daughter-in-law, JP and Mary Beth; and his three grandsons, Jarrett, Brandon and Erik. Manuel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, employer and friend to everyone he encountered. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, March 7th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8th, at 10 AM, at St. Joseph Parish Church, Millstone Township. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel.
