Obituary of Dorothea A. Bonnell

Dorothea A. Bonnell, 91, passed into the next life on Friday, July 6, 2012, after a short illness. She was born and raised in Jersey City, moving to Seabrook Village at Tinton Falls in 2001. During her career, she was the executive assistant to four CEO's of the Colgate Palmolive Company before retiring in the late 1970's. She leaves behind a beloved niece, Linda Klapperstuck; two grand nieces, Kris Grove and Karen Klapperstuck; two great grand nieces, Kelly and Sydney Grove; and four cousins, Dr. Doris Thompson, Carol Thompson, and Althea Deuchar, and Frank Portizo and their families. "Aunt Dot" to all, she was an integral part of every family gathering and celebration. She had a smile for everyone and a sweetness that remained in the minds of anyone she met. She shared her incredible memory to the end by always having a story from the past with which to entertain the family. She will be sorely missed and always remembered.
