Obituary of Anne Thompson

Anne E. (Hardy) Thompson, 83, passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2012, at home. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife and daughter and her greatest joy was being with her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John "Gordy" Thompson, in 2000 and her parents, Eleanor and William Hardy. Anne is survived by her three children and their spouses, John G. Thompson, Jr. and his wife, Rosemary of Matawan; Edward R. Thompson and his wife, Linda of Jackson; Carol A. (Thompson) Belke and her husband, Craig of Leonardo; her eight grandchildren , Kristen, Kimberly, Sean, Bobby, Scott and Colin Thompson and Ashley and Billy Belke; and several nephews and cousins. Friends and family are invited to gather on Sunday, July 8th, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, July 9th, at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colts Neck. Interment will follow at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro.
