Obituary of Domenick Busceti

Domenick Busceti, 83, of Freehold Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1930 and was raised in Reggio, Calabria, Italy. He returned to America in 1948 and served in the Korean War for two years. He and his wife, Angelina,owned and operated Domenick Busceti Nursery in Uniondale, NY from 1963 until 2007 before retiring to Freehold. He was predeceased by his two sons-in-law, Daniel Wilson and Kevin Finnegan. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Angelina; his five daughters and their spouses, Catherine Wilson of W. Hempstead, NY, Josephine and Michael Meade of Middletown, NJ, Debra Boeckle of Norwalk, CT, Maria Finnegan of Freehold, NJ and Lisa and Anthony Caluori of Garden City, NY; 11 grandchildren, Megan and Danielle Wilson, Ashley and Michael Meade, Nicole Boeckle, Jennifer and Daniel Finnegan, and Christopher, Stephen, Christina and Anthony Caluori Jr. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 20, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Saturday,10 AM, at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold. Entombment to follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
