My boyfriend and I have been going to Monmouth Worship Center about a year now and I remember to the day when I had joined the choir for the first time. Well one day we were at Vanderblast its this event they had at the church I was in the cafeteria heard the choir sing they sounded amazing!I thought to mysself man I would like to get involved so I went over to Nerine, mind you i didnt know this woman from adam I had said "Excuse me are you in charge of the Choir?" she was like yes I am.Then I was like are you looking for any singers because I had tons of experiance with choir shes like yes we deffently are she introduced herself to me she also showed me where they met each sunday so Vanderblast was on a saturday then Nerine told me they meet at 130 on sundays after the later service she introduced me to Roc told him i was interested in choir. So sunday came my boyfriend and I had gone to church that day waited till 130 to go meet with Nerine. I got confused with the room so i spotted her by the daycare center she walked with my boyfriend and i over to the room so we entered then I met Emmit he was just a warm and welcoming person from the very start, he introduced himself and kissed me on the cheek said welcome to choir! I remember they were preparing for ocean grove it was on the board with the date and all nerine was like you dont have to go if you dont wanna because your just coming back and all i was like no ill be there i went had a wonderful time but the one thing ill love the most is just singing with him and mostly for his warm genuine personality! my thoughts and prayers are with the dixon family
