Yes , the D'Anna and Slocum family go back many years , involving time we all spent at the Acme Markets food store. Many family connections on both sides, for many years. Lou and Vic both touched our lives much with a lot of good memories. And yes I too have experienced the death in family scenerio,and how it affects our lives. In 2011 , I lost 3 , my wife Cookie, then my sister Barbara, and then my sisterinlaw Dora Ann, in Texas. Then the next year my brotherinlaw George, in Texas , and lastly 2013 ,lost my mom Ethel 95 years young. Yes it comes to end for us all , and the most important fact is to be ready , when God says it is our time. God Bless Lou and Vic both. Ray Slocum Jr.
