Obituary of Irving Lopatin

Irving Lopatin, 85, of Monroe Township, passed away on June 18, 2012, at home with his family. Born in Freehold, he lived in Colonia and East Brunswick before moving to Monroe Township. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Irving was general manager for Hayden Technical Publishing Company for many years. He co-founded Kopy Kat Instant Print, East Brunswick, with his wife, Vivian. He later co-founded Micro Central, Old Bridge, with his wife and their son, Jay. He was predeceased by his wife, Vivian; his siblings, Nathan Lopatin, Juliet Narunsky and Celia Berman; and his daughter-in-law, Joy Lopatin. He is survived by his three children, Risa Lopatin Stolly of Monroe Township, Jay and his wife, Roxanne of East Brunwick, and Matt of Sunny Isles Beach, FL; his brother, William of West Windsor; and grandchildren, Ari, Amanda, Palmer and Rachel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19th, at 1:00 PM, at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. Interment will follow at Freehold Jewish Center Cemetery, Route 33 East, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to either American Cancer Society or Hadassah.
