Obituary of Regina Elizabeth Clayton

Regina E. Clayton, 88, of Wall Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Geraldine L. Thompson Care Center, Wall Township. Born in West Point Pleasant, she was a life-long resident of the Jersey Shore area. She was a former communicant of St. Catharine Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Regina was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Raymond in 1981; her brother, Vincent Miller; and her daughter-in-law, Joanne Clayton. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Barbara and Ralph Cavanaugh of Freehold, Raymond of Howell, and Timothy and Linnea of Brooksville, FL; her sister, Betty Ann and Frank Macaluso of Bricktown; five grandchildren, Nina, Michael, Tim, Brittany and T.J.; and five great grandchildren, Connor, Cameron, Christian, Hailey and Hannah. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 15th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 16th, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery, Neptune.
