Obituary of Doris H. Kurtz

Doris H. Kurtz, 91, of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Roselle Park as a child, moved to Rahway after her marriage and has resided in Jackson since 1999. She was a volunteer at Hope Christian Pre-school in Freehold Township and a choir member of the Golden Tones in Jackson. Doris loved to travel. She was predeceased by her husband, George, in 1999. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Jim Ulozas of Toms River; three grandchildren, Michele Schneider and her husband, Bob of Iselin, Terri Manfredo and her finance, Rob Ferrara of East Brunswick, and Stephanie Schaefer of Avenel; seven great grandchildren, Bobby Schneider and his fiancé, Stephanie Pajak of Iselin, Alicia Hendrickson and her fiancé, Steven Lyle of New Egypt, Jesse Funk of Avenel; Kyle Hendrickson of New Egypt, Haylee Schaefer of Avenel, Emily Schneider of Iselin and Shane Havens of East Brunswick. Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, April 17th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 18th, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
