Obituary of Antoinette Competello

Antoinette Competello, 87, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2013, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Hoboken, she has resided in Manalapan for the past 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan. Antoinette worked for General Foods in Hoboken for 35 years and then in the food service department of the Englishtown-Manalapan School System. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, in 1996. She is survived by her three children, Dominick Competello of Rutherford, Maria Competello of Manalapan and Michael Competello of Lincoln Park; her daughter-in-law, Joan Cargulia of Lincoln Park; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, April 7th, from 2 to 6 PM, at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, April 8th, at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
