The memories come flooding back. Aunt Rose and my mom were more like sisters cause they were close in age. Then it continued with their children. Remember the stories of our parents spending weekends (unchaparoned!) in Ronkonkama. They were "working" weekends. The car caravan ride to Disney World. It was hysterical. We had cb radios, who needed portable dvd players?! We stayed in the tree houses. Uncle Nick and Aunt Rose got the girls and my parents got the boys. Needless to say your parents got the better deal. Then came Hancock. The jeep hayrides, the bon fires, the lake and the guests. It is a shame that the kids today don't have these times anymore.(Do I sound like Uncle Nick or my parents? but it is true.) I will miss Uncle Nick so very much. In this tough time let the memories carry you through.
Love,
Marianne
