Obituary of Vicki Lynn Louro

Vicki Lynn Louro, 55, of Wall Township, passed away after a long illness surrounded by the people she loved, on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at home. Born in Neptune, she lived in Freehold Township, moved to Spring Lake in 1985 and then to Wall Township in 2004. A graduate of Freehold Township High School, she received her CA Certificate from Sherman College of Chiropractic, Spartanburg, SC. Vicki was a member of the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan and Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ. where she loved playing golf with her family and friends. Since 1978, Vicki was an advocate for empowering women through education about the benefits of breastfeeding, natural child birth, and the importance of proper nutrition. She was predeceased by her parents, J. Stanley and Ruth Slocum. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dr. Joseph J. Louro; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Cynthia and James and Jennifer; her three grandchildren, Joseph, Juliana and Sophia; and her sister, Connie Slocum. A memorial service and celebration of Vicki's life will be held on Saturday, January 19th, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, at The Church of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ. .
